On June 1, 2022 The South County Economic Development Council hosted a Binational Forum at Southwestern College Performing Arts Center.
The event hosted a variety of public officials, civic, business and community leaders to discuss important topics of Binational Economy, Trade and Mobility. Throughout the day many opportunities to unite efforts were highlighted and relationships enhanced.
Thank you to our sponsors and all those able to attend for being part of such an important discussion for our region.

To Attendees,
On behalf of the South County Economic Development Council, I would like to personally thank each of you for attending the Inaugural Binational Forum. We hope you found value interacting with our exceptional speakers and presenters.
The SCEDC will continue convening discussions between our partners and our communities to ensure a unified approach to maximizing opportunities for all who call the region our home.
Many have shared their desire to gain access to the data presented by Bill Dolan Regional Investment Director, US Bank and Kurt Nonold, Secretary of Economy, and Innovation for the State of Baja.
Attached please find the tremendous insights and information both were able to share. We encourage you to pass this information along to others you feel would have interest in the material.
The future is bright for South County and our neighbors with so many committed and enthusiastic leaders. Through our panels we heard about tremendous efforts to unite programs across our region regardless of nation. We are excited to see the discussion continuing between our panelists and their desire to partner on actionable projects.
We appreciate XEWT 12 recording the Binational Forum, and over the coming days we will begin sharing clips highlighting the discussions.
A big thank you to our title sponsor Border Fusion and all our sponsors, without you the day would not have been possible. All our partners and Binational Committee played an invaluable role in bringing together the wide array of community insights.
Thank you again,
James O’Callaghan
